2023 International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship
一、申请条件Eligibility
1. 非中国籍人士；
2. 对华友好，无违法犯罪记录，遵守中国政府的法律、法规和学校的规章制度；
3. 身心健康，品学兼优；
4. 有志于从事中文教育、教学及相关工作；
5. 年龄为 16-35 周岁（统一以2023年9月1日计）。在职中文教师放宽至45周岁。
1. Be a non-Chinese citizen;
2. Be friendly to China, have no criminal record, abide by the laws and regulations of China and the rules and regulations of the Host Institution;
3. Be in good physical and mental health, be in good academic and behavioral standing;
4. Be interested in Chinese language education and related work;
5. Be aged between 16 and 35 years on September 1, 2023. The maximum age limit for in-service Chinese teachers may be extended to 45.
二、招生类别Categories
01 一学期研修生
One-Semester Chinese Study
2023年9月、2024年3月入学，资助期限为5个月。不录取护照上有X1、X2签证者。汉语考试成绩达到HSK（三级）180分，具有HSKK成绩。
Enrollment starts in September 2023 or March 2024.The scholarship is provided for a maximum of 5 months. Applicants holding the X1/X2 visa category are not eligible.
Applicants must have a minimum score of 180 in HSK Test (Level 3), and HSKK test score is required.
02 四周研修生
Four-Week Study
2023 年7月或12月入学，资助期限为4周。不录取护照上有 X1、X2 签证者。具有HSK成绩。
可由推荐机构组团进行报名，并事先联系接收院校确定在华学习计划，提前报中心审批，每团10-15 人。
The program commences either in July or December 2023, and the scholarship is provided for a maximum of four weeks. Applicants holding the X1/X2 visa category are not eligible. Applicants are required to provide an HSK test score.
The program may be organized and applied for by a Recommending Institution with 10-15 participants per group. Before the trip, a detailed study plan shall be made in consultation with the Host Institution(s) and such plan shall be submitted to CLEC for review and approval.
三、办理流程Application Procedures
1.登录中外语言交流合作中心网站（http://www.chinese.cn）国际中文教师奖学金板块
Log in the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship website (http://www.chinese.cn).
2. 查询推荐机构与接收院校
Search for Recommending Institutions and Host Institutions(East China University of Technology)
3. 在线提交申请材料，关注申请进程、审核意见与奖学金评审结果
Submit application materials online and track the application process
4. 奖学金获得者与东华理工大学确认办理来华留学手续，在线打印获奖证书
The successful applicant must confirm with ECUT to go through the procedures of studying in China, print out the scholarship certificate online
5. 按东华理工大学录取通知书规定的时间入学报到
Register at ECUT on the designated date as per the Letter of Admission
四、申请日期Application Deadlines(Beijing Time)
申请开始时间：2023年3月1日
Online registration will be available from March 1, 2023
1. 7月入学：学生申请截止日期为4月15日，推荐机构、接收院校审核截止日期为4月25日；
For programs commencing in July, applicants must complete their applications by April 15, and Recommending Institutions and Host Institutions must complete the review by April 25.
2. 9月入学：学生申请截止日期为5月15日，推荐机构、接收院校审核截止日期为5月25日；
For programs commencing in September, applicants must complete their applications by May 15, and Recommending Institutions and Host Institutions must complete the review by May 25.
3. 12月入学：学生申请截止日期为9月15日，推荐机构、接收院校审核截止日期为9月25日；
For programs commencing in December, applicants must complete their applications by September 15, and Recommending Institutions and Host Institutions must complete the review by September 25.
4. 2024年3月入学：学生申请截止日期为11月15日，推荐机构、接收院校审核截止日期为11月25日。
For programs commencing in March 2024, applicants must complete their applications by November 15, and Recommending Institutions and Host Institutions must complete the review by November 25.
五、关于在职中文教师和汉语桥获奖者
Policies Regarding In-service Chinese Language Teachers And Chinese Bridge Winners
01 在职中文教师
In-Service Chinese Language Teachers
在职中文教师申请各类奖学金，可提供就职机构出具的在职证明和推荐信，免提交汉语水平考试（HSK）证书。
In-service Chinese language teachers may be exempted from HSK/HSKK certificates if they provide proof of employment and a letter of recommendation from the employer.
02 汉语桥获奖者
Chinese Bridge Winners
在各类汉语桥比赛中获得“国际中文教师奖学金证书”者，登录国际中文教师奖学金网站，凭奖学金证书向目标接收院校提交申请材料。
Applicants who have received the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship Certificate during Chinese Bridge competitions may submit their application documents along with their scholarship certificates to the Host Institutions directly at the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship website.

六、资助内容Scholarship Coverage
国际中文教师奖学金资助内容包括：学费、住宿费、生活费（四周研修生除外）和综合医疗保险费。
The International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship provides full coverage on tuition fee, accommodation fee, living allowance (except four-week program students) and comprehensive medical insurance package.
1．我校为学生提供免费宿舍，一般为2人间；经奖学金生申请、我校批准，选择校外住宿者，由学校按月发放住宿费，标准为700元人民币/月。
We provide free hostel accommodation for Scholarship students. Normally 2 students share a room. For those who with the permission of the university choose to live off campus, they are entitled to a monthly accommodation allowance of RMB700 per person.
2．生活费由我校按月发放。一学期研修生标准为2500元人民币/月。
Living allowance is granted on monthly basis. The allowance criteria per person is: One-Semester Students: RMB 2,500 per month;
3. 综合医疗保险费参照中国教育部来华留学有关规定执行，由我校统一购买。四周研修生标准为160元人民币/人，一学期研修生为400元人民币/人。
Comprehensive medical insurance is purchased in accordance with the relevant regulations for international students stipulated by the Ministry of Education of China. The insurance packages are as follows:
Four-week program students- RMB 160 per person
One-Semester Students- 400 per person
