Our school, founded in 2002, is one of the first provincial modeling schools of software in Jiangxi Province. We offer fivebachelor programs in Software Engineering, Network Engineering, Digital Media Technology, Internet of Things Engineering, and Data Science and Big Data Technology. Software Engineering was approved as a Joint Program of BachelorProject by Chinese MOE in 2011, and was granted as the Education and Training Program for National Excellent Engineers of Ministry of Education. As of 2019, there are about 3,600 undergraduate students studying in the school.


Our school has a staff of 155 members, including 85 full-time faculty members, 30 international faculty members, and 40 part-time members from enterprises. Our faculty qualified for theirprofessional backgroundprovides good foundation for our studentscultivation and innovation.

Talent Cultivation

Since the establishment of the school, we have been focusing on the cultivation of students' practical, innovation, and employment abilities by cooperating with our domestic and foreign universities and enterprises. In order to improve theiroverall quality, we strengthen the students’ practical ability by standardizing the international software production process. The purpose of this is to improve students' problem solving ability in the analysis, design, implementation and maintenance of software, information system development, embedded system and software development, electronic commerce application software development, and software service outsourcing. Most of our graduates have been employed in famous IT enterprises.


Our school has advanced facilities and labs with a total area of more than 3,600 m2, laying a solid foundation for experimental teaching and program practicing. The major labs are Computer Foundation Lab, Software Project Training Lab, Database Technology Lab, Software Architecture and Modeling Lab, Operating System Lab, Graphics and Image Application and Simulation Lab, Image Processing and Interface Design Lab, Digital Media Technology Lab, Animation Game Development Lab, Communication Technology and Data Transmission Lab, Computer Composition Principle and Computer Interface Technology Lab, Embedded System Development Lab, Internet of Things Technology Lab, Computer Network Lab, Network Protocol Simulation Lab, Network and Information Security Lab, and Parallel Computing Lab. These facilities (which are valued at over 15 million Yuan) ensure our competitiveness in fields like software engineering, network engineering, internet of things engineering, and digital media technology. Our school has established 20 practice bases in Beijing, Suzhou, and Shanghai. Moreover, Our school owns two provincial and ministerial scientific platforms, namely, Research Center for Nuclear Geoscience Data Science and System Engineering Technology and Radioactive Geoscience Large Data Technology Engineering Laboratory.


Teachers in our schools have undertaken more than 30 research projects at the national, ministerial and provincial level. Furthermore, our teachers have achieved many scientific achievements, such as publishing more than 30 international academic papers, and having been granted 73 authorized patents and 30 software copyrights.

International Exchange

Our school insists on the principle of internationaleducation, fostering student and faculty exchange, research collaboration and training. So far, we have recruited more than 30 IT foreign experts and returned overseas graduates to work in our school. Meanwhile, we constantly enhance our Chinese teachers bilingual ability in their field by assigning some of them to be the co-teachers of foreign experts and sending teachers to further their studies abroad. More than 10key teachers of the school have participated in research exchange and training abroad in countries such as America, Canada, Britain, Ireland and Cambodia.


Our school focuses on developing students innovative ability and encourages them to actively take part in different kinds of extracurricular activities. Students have achieved excellence in different national multi-disciplinary competitions, such as ACM International Computer Programming Competition, Blue Bridge Cup National Professional Competition for Software and Information Technology, and National University Internet Application Innovation Competition.

Over 4,000 students have graduated from our program, most of whom have gained the reputation of becoming integral members of their IT companies. Some other graduates have chosen to continue their studies, study abroad, work as civil servants, and establish their own companies.
