LIU Xiaodong, male, professor, PhD Supervisor. Prof.Liu engaged in the research and high education on Uranium Geology and Radioactive Waste Geological Disposal for more than 40 years. As the chief scientist, he hosted and completed multiple key projects of the MST and the CAEA, and published over 100 papers including the papers in top international journals in earth science. Over 60 master's/doctoral students, and postdoctoral fellows both domestically and internationally have been supervised by Professor Xiaodong Liu. He is currently the consultant and technical co-operation expert of IAEA, and also serve as the Vice Chairman of the Nuclear Geology Professional Committee of the Chinese Geological Society; Vice Chairman of the Fluid Inclusion Professional Committee of the Chinese Society for Mineralogy Petrology and Geochemistry; Vice Chairman of the Waste Underground Disposal Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Rock Mechanics and Engineering.
